Roles and responsibilities
- Generate the seafarers and shore-based employees’ payroll (administration & payroll officer).
- Contribute to monthly salary review and to related administrative declarations.
- Record and control inputs in payroll system.
- Record/import all necessary pay elements such as travel expenses, medical expenses, loan, training, deduction, bonus.
- Ensure that reports are 100% accurate and within the deadlines.
- Ensure Seafarer receives their salary.
- Contribute to the system updates and maintain the Master Data.
- Liaise with Accounting/ Finance departments and provide all necessary documents to ensure accurate invoicing to clients.
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
- Have at least 2 years of experience as payroll officer or in similar position in a Maritime or oil and gas company;
- Holder of a minimum of Higher School certificate or equivalent;
- Have a good understanding of international payroll regulations;
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Have an excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Excel skills;
- A perfect command of English is mandatory and any other language will be an advantage.;
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines.
