🚨 RED FLAGS TO WATCH OUT FOR
-

-
Language such as “even if outside your usual expertise” and “please outsource” is a classic scam tactic to trick you into sourcing from a fake supplier.
-
Phone numbers provided are often not traceable to any legitimate department office.
-
No such tender appears on the official DCS site or National Treasury's eTenders portal.
🛡️ PROTECT YOUR BUSINESS
-
🧐 Verify all RFQs with DCS directly at www.dcs.gov.za.
-
📩 Be cautious of emails urging you to redirect queries and quotations to suspicious third-party addresses.
-
🔒 Never source items from a "recommended supplier" unless you have verified them yourself independently.
